Coordinated health care can also be referred to as integrated health model. In this model or system, all aspects of healthcare are coordinated to enable focus on patient care from all departments in an interlinked coordinated way. Laboratories play a significant role in the process of patient treatment. Non-integrated system of healthcare is very inefficient compared to the integrated system. The former stores information related to a single patient in a very fragmented manner.
