Quotes and Notes. Literature & Language Assignment

Quotes and Notes: Write down one “quote” either from the lecture or students’ presentation or from the text that you read for Monday or Wednesday. Follow the quote with one corresponding “note”: Why do you think it struck you?  Is it confusing, inspiring, controversial or else? What do you think it means?  You can write about this in terms of thoughts and ideas (related to either this or other courses), or to things you read, or events in your life (or all of the above). Simple comments such as “I like / don’t like…” and “I agree with …” don’t count unless followed with substantial elaborations. The post should be about 100 words long excluding the quote. Post your quote and note on HuskyCT by Friday midnight biweekly.
