    1. Propriety is the social conventions and norms which are deemed as the guidelines, where everyone should follow
    2. Disobedience to these “arbitrary” rules that were set, such as discourtesy to elderly, are then sanctioned by established rules of law or by unconventional ones (ex. Shaming in social media outlets)
