How has the COVID 19 Pendamic Affected MyFamily
Within the last months of 2019, the whole world begins to undergo an identical trauma COVID 19. The outbreak of the nasty virus with its roaring affliction wrapped the aggregate population of the world by affecting them mentally and socially along with physically. The entire globe is suffering behind the mask, which is only a sense of safety than real safety(Foster). They are suffering from inside, if not outside. I endeavour to expose the impact of COVID 19 pandemic on my family in different ways. How the monster of this communicable disease, while making disastrous losses in more than 231 countries of the world, has generated noteworthy physical, social, psychological, and economic topple for my family. Wilson tells in his news report on Express that COVID 19 pandemic was the reason for the cancellation of dozens of international sports, including Champions Leauge and Europ League. The sportsmen have to go through inactivity. This idleness is not only limited to international sports leagues but also the children and adults are inactive in their homes in every corner of the world(New York Times). Lockdowns, curfews, and safety measures by the government told upon the physical health of the people like my family by depriving them of all outdoor activities. Although the metabolic concerns are genuinely medical, their idleness has lessened the work capacity of their bodies. They have begun to be exhausted too soon as compared to their performance in the previous lifestyle, duties, and outdoor activities. The male members of my family, who were not regular at workouts due to outdoor sports and economic responsibility, have grown a risk-prone routine that may affect their physical health even more. The pandemic seems to be prevalent for further months threatening our energy and metabolism. Apart from this, the innovative stay-home lifestyle has generated new indoor preoccupations that are good to kill time and injurious to the vitality of the human body. For example, video games on computer and mobile, board games, watching TV for hours, and surfing the internet for whole nights have become the new conduct of life. The rising dynamite of pandemic is strengthening the serious intimidation of physical disability for us.
Psychological Impact
According to a Canadian database of mental health concerns, 50 percent of the citizens reported the compounded psychological health issues during the spread of COVID 19. in April 2020, Angus Reid Institute pointed out the high level of distress and tension about the lowered mental health during a pandemic. The statistics of improved mental health are going down sharply, indicating the, even more, worsened psychological conditions in the future(New York Times). I support the warning specified by Canadian report by exposing mine and my family’s mental health conditions during COVID 19 pandemic. All of us are under stress, uncertainty, and ambiguity. The ambiguity of our thought is identical to the feeling of those in blackouts in World Wars. Approaching destruction that can swallow our life, lifestyle, the thread of fashion, and relationships can cause grave psychological disorders. The post-pandemic people(if they are lucky enough to stay safe) might be a product of chaos, uncertainty, and fear. The isolation has not separated my family from other people, but also it has left their souls in despair and fear of something that is about to happen. The ever-changing news of pandemics, the difference between the number of deaths in different countries and the rumours about the American conspiracy causing pandemic have increased the alarming situation of the nightmare(Saxena 15). If they continue to live under stress, the coming generations can be much less productive and psychologically healthy to contribute their role for the glory of their nation. That is what I am concerned about the younger members of my family who are deprived of regular education, security to play with other children outside, and healthy life without masks and sanitizers(Saxena 19). They are growing under certain conditions of uncertainty, foreboding the same phobia for all.
Social Impact
