I was not aware of the complexity of the knee joint prior to the video. For instance, until I watched the video, I was not aware of the knee’s optimal adaptations to the forces and loads that are constantly acting through and at the knee joint. The video helped me understand how the hinge-type synovial joint supports the body’s weight and allows movement through flexion and extension. After watching the video, my opinion about injured athletes who miss time or return to sports ahead of schedule has changed.
