Literacy Narrative essay

2.22.2021

Words are like puzzles to me that I couldn’t recognize. Sentences are like puzzles to me that I couldn’t solve easily. English readings as my second language are more like illegible writing that hard to read. The first day I touched English literacy, I could feel the power of words and the story, the lesson behind the sentences, the journal. However, following the subtitles was hectic because, on many occasions, people would be laughing already while I was still trying to piece what the words meant. English readings as my second language are more like illegible writing that hard to solve.
On the other hand, my father liked to watch historical war movies, especially about ancient Britain. His favorite shows were marred with violence and nudity, and on most occasions, he could watch alone or with his friends. My mother seldom liked them as much as I can remember. Once in a while, when he was in a goo...
