How We Face Difficulties And Use Knowledge To Solve Those Difficulties

Name: Instructor: Course: Date: Narrative The economy is highly dependent on the availability and reliability of energy as one of the main pillars. The cost of energy drives other costs, fixed or otherwise. Every time there is a shift in the prices of the energy there is shifts in the service and goods sector and this affects the local and national economies. Taking part in one of the business competitions events in high school the idea of using solar energy as one of the main complimenting sources became very apparent as a formidable choice. Solar energy forms part of the future of sustainable energy sources and implementing an infrastructure is key step towards this realization. Working with a group of five other students, I had the chance to develop a plan were the city of New York would benefit from a strategy to cut back on the power costs by investing in the future of solar energy. The idea was borne of the fact that, there are massive skyscrapers that are New York. All of which have walls facing the sun at any one time. By replacing some of the window panels with solar panels the building could easily reduce the costs that they incur on electricity (Pultarova). There were however some challenges associated with narrowing down to the way that the implementation would take place. First there was the issue of the right technology to use. The replaced window panels had to match in weight to the solar panels. This is relative to the physics involved in the building this high and most importantly with reference to the structural integrity of the building.
