Compare and Contrast: Steinbeck and Blyton
Over the years, there has been an increase in works that different authors have written. Even though there have been different authors, some of the outstanding authors that I have experienced are Steinbeck and Blyton. Due to their popularity, different individuals have been checking these two individuals' similarities and differences. Therefore, this paper will compare and contrast Steinbeck's and Blyton's work using The Grapes of Wrath and Enchanted Wood.
Steinbeck and Blyton have one similarity: they have employed the fictional genres. For example, in The Grapes of Wrath, Steinbeck gives a fictional story regarding some experiences that the community was experiencing. Similarly, The Enchanted Wood is a fiction story about how the parent instructs the child. The other similarity between Steinbeck and Blyton is they have employed detail-oriented writing. For instance, Steinbeck has applied a novel format, which helps him to highlight every detail within the story since he describes the events, such as how men and women were huddled in their houses (Steinbeck 3). Similarly, Blyton has employed a descriptive format where she describes the events in the fictional story. This process helps the reader to have a clear picture of what is happening within the story.
