Most significantly, within the above compound, the soul tends to conceive life-giving elements such that it is the center of perception, consciousness, and thought, which should be the governing part of a human being. In contrast to Rousseau, he perceives the community as a social and unnatural sense, therefore, making it unnatural but artificial. Therefore, to establish his critique of the existing society, the question about what humans would have been like before the institution of society. Consequently, he perceived society as unnatural and the social sense as artificial. The paper tends to compare and contrast Rousseau and Augustine and provide a fact-based argument below.
Human nature continues to remain a significant element for discussion in human theories explaining human nature. Different theorists present reasoning to understanding the variance of human nature. The two theorists offer an in-depth understanding of the existing institutional setting that offers the categorical factors of the societal setting. The human discussion offers an understanding of the history of humankind to the ancient times, which is critical to the philosophical world. Immanuel Kant offered an imperative to understanding a deeper meaning of human nature, later adopted by philosophical theorists, who also transformed the community approach to dealing with different community issues. Some of the great thinkers in the ancient community offered an imperative to thinking education and approaches to dealing with some of the issues in human nature fallacies. Understanding some of the medieval leaders formed the opinion to understand the difference of approaches in most academic communities.            The different approaches to the concept of Rousseau’s Confessions indicate that the philosopher absorbed a specific view of the world with a developed and formed view of their approach(Porter, Roy, et al, 225). Few studies indicate the challenges and controversial effects and factors of the philosopher to mean that they fail to create critical reviews of the philosopher, which happens to be critical in the comparisons with Rousseau, which happens to be a critical scholar in the world of philosophy. In many dimensions, the two philosophers tend to offer to teach critical to understanding human nature. In various dimensions, Augustine’s Confessions offers an understanding of the Christian dimensions in changing the Christian community's view to understanding the Christian community primarily associated with the catholic doctrine. Augustine theology is critical to explaining the catholic canonical perspective over the Bible that changes the view to a community approach to human nature and religion. Though most of the reading in the theological approach and doctrine may seem to contradict the standard cannons of the Biblical setting, they offer an understanding of the common expectation of the Bible that acts as the Universal guidebook for the Christin community. In this development, the Augustine common thinking rational ensures to offer the rational thinking to the expectation of the human conduct and behavior. According to the philosopher, the humankind population tends to rely on the teachings of the Christian canonicals that offer a significant understanding of religion for the Christian community.
Rousseau argues the case for the rationality of the state of nature. Accordingly, the philosopher presented a rational argument enlightening on the interesting aspects of human insights(Porter, Roy, et al, 265). Their presentation and view of argument justified the claim to moral psychology and the aspect of social mediation of identity. Though the psychologists offered some of the important cases to refute some of the proactive claims, the philosopher offered an imperative to understanding the world of philosophers. The value of independences formed the primary critical argument for the philosophers who defended the serious argument that with a mind focused on totalitarian political theory, which commands the absolute citizen to has the responsibility to identify with the infallible general will of the state which is the governing state or authority of purposes. In this approach to the mater, the philosopher felt that even with the apprehensions aspect of dealing with authority administration, it remained relevant to ensure that even the authorizing authority has to ensure they give options of liberty.
