Give each adjective a paragraph of development, and illustrate, with examples and direct quotes from the book, how that character is developed through his/her language, action, and descriptions of the character either by the narrator or other characters. In a final paragraph, discuss character development; in other words, how does your character change or grow from the beginning of the novel to the end? You must select a character who is central to the novel. For instance, Dudley Dursley only appears in the beginning of the book, and although he’s a round character, we don’t see him after the plot’s exposition, nor is he central and dynamic. Some possibilities include Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Malfoy, Neville, etc. use only the book for sources.
