Probation Verses Parole
Probation identifies with the trial period in which the abilities and the character of an offender are tested; the period is associated with allowing time for the offender to redeem herself or himself (DeMichele 12). This a system applied in dealing with offenders without offering any imprisonment. Persons not found guilty are released indefinitely.
