Public structures have always been designed to resonate and influence their users. The shape, form, and volume of such structures give an idea about how such structures were used during those times. Accordingly, one of the most apparent representations of these were the churches during the medieval period. Like those that would come after, it is apparent that churches in the said period have many embellishments that represent the depictions in the Bible. Additionally, it is also voluminous and has a high ceiling, which suggests power and authority.
