Cultural Awareness
Cultural awareness is now a fundamental concept in the nursing practice. Nurses must demonstrate their understanding of diverse beliefs while delivering care to their patients to ensure it does not worsen cultural issues and promotes quality outcomes. These considerations have prompted the exploration of sensitive elements among male nurses’ care for women with diversified cultural backgrounds.
In some nations, women’s direct interaction with men is sensitive. As a result, male nurses offering contact-based care to such patients may be misinterpreted as an intrusion in their privacy, worsening cultural challenges in providing services.
