An analysis of a Xerox corporation will be given here because there are several reasons why employees stay and leave. After doing this, it will be easier to determine the solution so that employees stay happy in a Xerox corporation and they will not think of leaving.
Starting a Xerox corporation may seem easy, but the real challenge begins in running the business because there are problems that will soon start to arise. Of course, a feasibility study is done before starting any sort of business, but there are instances when a turmoil was not foreseen by the owners. This is why some companies decline and are forced to shut down. By seeing problems early, the company and its employees are given a chance to make adjustments and improvements to keep the company’s stability.
In a Xerox corporation, employees stay because a responsible Xerox company takes care of their people. A benefits package is offered to take part in the lives of their employees. According to Xerox website, assistance programs are offered, they have resources to extend help in caring for children and the elderly, they assist in adoption, education, and even tuition fee (2011). If employees want to take some time off, they have programs for paid holidays and vacation benefits. In case of an illness, they allow personal leave of absence, and a medical leave if a family member is sick.
