The only way to succeed in life is to choose a career that I am passionate about, which means that I will be motivated to pursue it. In some cases, students study courses due to the influence they get from others. For example, they might think that pursuing a specific course will be beneficial since it is associated with well-paying jobs. However, one primary thing that individuals forget is that engaging in something without passion or interest will at some point be hard. People should use tools, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), to determine their personality traits. As a result, it becomes easy to choose a career that one is best in or drive to pursue based on a person's preferences, strengths, and weaknesses.
My personality trait is extravert (1%), sensing (56%), feeling (59%), and perceiving (19%) (ESFP). When I complete my undergraduate study, I want to get a job as a business marketer to apply what I have learned in school to real-life situations. After a short period, I want to enroll in my master's in the field of marketing. I want a job first to ensure that I understand the dynamics of business marketing. It would be easy for me to address challenges that I encounter at work through research. My long-term goal is to open my company to promote businesses through advertisements to help them reach out to their target customers. As a result, my marketing career aligns with my ESFP personality traits, and I am passionate about it.
As an ESFP, my strengths are sociable, showmanship, optimism, enjoy socializing with people, spontaneous, practical, and observant. I like interacting with individuals regardless of their differences in culture, religion, race, gender, or ethnicity. In my perspective, I know that everyone is unique, and that is the reason why socializing with others is important to enrich ourselves.
