I respectfully request a grant of $ 15,000 to support a home-delivered foods program that will target students at UC Davis and residents of the city of Davis
I am aware that there other food delivery service operators, but I am committed to expand service delivery as there is growing demand for food delivery. The grant will allow me to evaluate whether the target audience are receptive to the idea, as I will collect information on customer needs and market the services.
The customers prefer home delivered meals as the service is convenient, and this is especially for those running late and busying their lives. The program is useful when meals are delivered on time and this creates trust as more customers are willing to try out the service.
The service is not only convenient, but also saves time for those who would have to travel to their favorite restaurants to order takeaways. I can be reached at (6026)716-616 or jhtliu@ ucdavis.edu.

PROPOSAL ABSTRACT
The proposed program aims at supporting food delivery services to the residents of the City of Davis. While there are various providers in meal delivery only a few have superior logistics and vast network to meet customer needs in different locations. Restaurant visitors increasingly rely on the internet to make decisions purchasing decisions. Partnering with a food service provider is expected to improve food service delivery. This will make it easier to order food online from the restaurant listed. As such, this will less spend less time waiting to be served in restaurants or waiting in line or dinning. Students who use the services will give their feedback and this will inform decisions on improving the project. The proposal requests $ 15,000 to facilitate food service delivery that will run from May 2017 to July 2017, and the projected will be marketed to bring awareness to potential customers. The costs associated with the project will mainly cover administrative and marketing costs. If the proposal is approved, UC Davis and city residents will use the meal sharing services when they need them without incurring unnecessary costs and waiting for long to get served.
