As one of the popular destinations in Ipoh, Concubine Lane is filled with souvenir shops, fashion outlets, and restaurants that serve authentic Malaysian dishes. According to MalaysiaLife.Org, an organization that provides tips and reminders about various places in the country, Concubine lane has many interesting and novelty-filled shops that tourists visit throughout the year. Tons of attractive signboards across the streets will surely attract you to buy their products. On sunny days, umbrellas are not needed by most visitors, since according to Ronnie Chin, a writer for Malaysian newspaper company The Star, several lanes have umbrellas hanging across the streets.
