Sound, Culture, Society: Sound Analysis Of A Specific Event
A written sound exercise – 1,500 words. This will have to be more than just descriptive: it will have to deploy – and demonstrate a firm grasp of – ‘acoustemological' analytical terms, as used by sound theorists and ethnographers, and your analysis will have to be embedded in a broader discussion of the implications of your findings.
This is weighted as 30% of your overall module grade.
