Introduction
Feasibility analysis could be elucidated as an evaluation on a project to determine whether it is economically, and technically viable. The two main factors to consider in feasibility analysis are qualitative and quantitative sources of data. Qualitative data is a type of data that distinguishes or estimates an occurrence, but does not determine its features or properties. It deals with quality, descriptions, and observations such as appearances, texture, tastes, and colors. Analogously, quantitative data is calculated on an arithmetic scale and can be scrutinized using statistical tools such as charts, tables, and graphs. These arithmetic scales include finances involved, height, time, speed, length, age, temperature, and volume. This paper discusses the types of qualitative, quantitative data and critical success factors used in feasibility analysis for the iPhone 5C model.
Qualitative Analysis
As aforementioned, a qualitative analysis deals with the quality of a product. Thus, the qualities of the iPhone 5C model could outstanding features that are not in the current android phones. This gadget will be cheaper than the previous iPhones owing to the polycarbonate shell that will replace the aluminum casings. According to Rassweller (2012), the polycarbonate shell is made of plastic and reduces the cost of producing colored products. It follows that the iPhone 5C model will have colors such as blue, yellow, or red. However, the model will still have a four-inch display including a dual-core A6 processor, an 8MP camera with one flash1GB, and an LPDDR2 RAM. These elements are missing in the market hence; their introduction will make the product sell.
