The main objective of AAC is to ensure that all members of the group are able to adhere to their rules. Alcohol is the most abused drug in the US and it claims the livelihoods of very many young people in that country. This is the reason why organizations are coming up from all corners of the country that try to address the issue of alcohol abuse among the young the people. Cahaba Mental Health for behavior, drugs, and alcohol is a self-help group that deals with alcohol and the abuse of other drugs. The center is situated in a serene environment in Kyalami area, North of Gauteng. This is the reason why most alcohol and other substance abusers are very happy when visiting the facility.
The center is located outside the town where there are many activities. Beautiful environment and animals including birds don the place, which makes the atmosphere very relaxing. The facility has "A well trained, team of experts that will make a significant impact in the life of a recovering addict" (Eden Recovery Centre, 2012). This means that family members of the addict are at ease when they are taking their addict to the facility. According to the workers at the facility, "A multi-disciplinary approach based on abstinence, patient affirmation, intensive counseling, and adherence to structured programs" is followed by the team of experts in the facility to have a reason to abstain from their drugs of choice (Eden Recovery Centre, 2012). This enables the addicts to choose a drug free life because they are shown other ways of life without drugs. Experts know the reasons why people engage in drugs and it is for this reason that they are able to counsel addicts to live a healthy life. In the center, several ways are used to ensure that addicts abstain from using drugs.
Setting

This can be attributed to the fact that most of drug addicts do not do it out of their own volition but it is because they do not have anything else to do. Most drug addicts do not know that they are addicted until one is able to understand that s/he cannot do without the drug.
