Summary of the Project
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the collapse of local, national, and international economies secondary to the lockdowns, preventing people and goods from one place to another. The massive loss was also attributed to jobs and revenue from businesses, resulting in a significant economic impact. Moreover, the political impact came from the issues in government responses (Tisdell, 2020). This project shall investigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on society, particularly its political and economic impact, via a qualitative research method. The researcher shall utilize information from primary and secondary sources and reputable websites of the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Health Organization, Pew Research Center, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
