Military Profession and Bearing
Being in the military implies that a person is well-trained and organized, they are subjected to various demands and tasks with challenging duties as well as simple chores, and even if they are under a great deal of pressure, they are still expected to do a task effectively. Because only those who have the bravery and tenacity to become real, well-trained military personnel may claim to be among the best classes of military personnel, the military is regarded as a challenging field of endeavor. Once in the military, always in the military. Because the lessons learned and the fundamentals of the profession are carried over into everyday life, military personnel live by them and take pleasure in their line of work. These types of attachments to the job are known as military and professional bearing. It embeds a person into a chain of professional norms they will adhere to throughout their lives. Simply put, this means they will continue to live and do the duties associated with their occupation even after retiring and engaging in regular social activities. The capacity to always behave oneself in a way that honors both oneself and the Army is known as a military bearing. It is the ability to uphold standards, convey authority and self-assurance, and opt for the challenging right over the easy wrong in both favorable and unfavorable situations, both on and off duty. A professional persona that has been given to them by the military schools is expected of anyone who has completed the military in any field of expertise. They must act as Soldiers, and leaders are expected to act. Military bearing arises from pride in oneself, in one's role as a leader, in one's service to the country, and in one's soldiering career. They represent their nation as ambassadors and, if necessary, as protectors because they are military personnel ("Military Bearing - Projecting Confidence and a Command Presence").
Anyone who graduates as a member of a country's armed forces must uphold that standard because it must be maintained to maintain its reputation. Military graduates of quality are built to become great leaders. The newcomers look up to those who successfully completed the training program; they view them as role models who have attained greater accomplishments. However, they continue to learn throughout their careers as they age and gain experience in their chosen fields on military bases. They do not stop learning as they get older.
