The primary objective of Jordan’s Principle is to ensure that First Nations Children do not experience the injustices that are available to other children. The principle was passed in 2007 by the House of Commons in Canada and it applies to the welfare services of children in the country. This is the first principle that is aimed at protecting aboriginal children from any rejections and other injustices in Canada.
