Ethics has been characterized as “doing the right thing” and serving as a motivational force that influences professionals’ values… Compliance is related to influencing behaviors to act in accordance to the law or face consequences… Studies show that ethical and compliance approaches are interrelated and work best to motivate and sustain lawful and ethical behavior in organizations.
