Essay Instructions:
Find one scholarly article related to your research question that uses an unobtrusive research method to conduct research. Read the article, and then write a one paragraph response to each of the following three questions. A paragraph is a minimum of 3 sentences, preferably 5-7 sentences. Your submission should include an APA style cover page, and a reference page that references the article you read.
Note: These are short answer questions, not an essay! You do not need to write an introduction and conclusion. You do need to cite as needed.
Summarize the research project. Your summary should clearly identify the project’s research question.
Describe the experimental set up and choice of sample and present the results of the project.
What were the strengths of this research project? Consider both the methodology and the sample selection. For the methodology, think about the strengths of the unobtrusive research method the project uses, and whether this project took advantage of those strengths. For sample selection, think about whether the project selected a truly representative sample.
What were the weaknesses of this research project? Consider both the methodology and the sample selection. For the methodology, think about the weaknesses of the unobtrusive research method the project uses, and whether this project fell prey to those weaknesses. For sample selection, think about whether the project selected a biased sample.

Article: “Conceptualisation of Financial Exploitation of Older People”
Summary of the Research Project
The project is structured to undertake a review and conceptualization of the financial exploitation of older people in which an interest in understanding the ways in which different groups make sense of and define financial abuse is at heart. This non-uniformity in the definition and conceptualization of economic exploitation and its likely implication in the detection, disclosure, and incidence of underreporting is the basis for the research question. The approach of the study was on the basis of systematic review, both qualitative and quantitative investigations, to try and answer three fundamental questions: What is the term "financial exploitation/abuse of older people" for an individual, for older people, for family, and the public? Is the understanding similar between populations, groups, and locations? How does this compare with professional conceptualizations? A number of settings where the research covers include older people, professionals, the public, and family members. The analysis of a number of issues also takes into consideration such issues as values, expectations, cultural concerns, relationship dynamics, situ, knowledge, and attitudes.
