Essential Topics Evident in Social Justice
From the various issues that have been touched upon thus far in the semester regarding social justice, there are many concepts that are common within each. From the readings that have been provided as well as class videos and discussions, the issues have been parsed in many different ways. Your assignment is to take what you have learned through these methods and compose a paper that compares and contrasts what major topics are evident throughout them. You should also discuss how there are differences as well. This paper should be succinct and direct; it should also be no more than two to three pages.

Social justice is a concept that has been discussed extensively throughout history and it remains a pressing issue in today’s society. Social justice promotes fairness and equality for all individuals regardless of background, race, or socio-economic status. It means addressing issues such as discrimination, inequality, and oppression and working toward creating a more just and equitable society (Dolan-Reilly, 2013). It is evident in efforts to address issues such as human trafficking, where advocates seek to eliminate the unfair exploitation of individuals for economic gain. Similarly, the pursuit of healthcare justice aims to address the unfair distribution of healthcare resources and access to quali...
