Five years from now, I want to be a manager for a luxurious car dealership. As such, in the next year, I want to be working at Porsche Dealership.
The two primary learning experiences I want to obtain so that I can achieve my five-year career goal include:
Communication skills.
I want to improve my interpersonal communication skills so that I can interact with different customers without a language barrier. I understand that when people are buying cars of their dreams, they need to be assured that they are doing the right thing for themselves.
Asking proper questions.
Clients feel comfortable when they are answering the right questions. For instance, what type of car are you looking for? In particular, the questions should be focused on making customers feel in the right place.
The two necessary work experiences include:
Researching different types of cars.
I need to research distinctive types of vehicles and their features. That way, I can help my clients to choose the right car that meets their needs.
A proper acquisition of negotiation skills.
When it comes to selling cars, acquiring negotiation skills is crucial since some customers will try to bargain. In that case, I will know how to ensure that such clients can get a slight discount on the products they want to buy.
