Report on the Cost-Effectiveness Study of the College Readiness Program Your Name Subject and Strength June 29, 2024 Purposeful College began College Readiness in the school year 2011- 2012 to improve the student's achievement and timely completion of college course objectives. The program provides the courses that are ensured for the first year of student enrollment: math courses, English, and the learning support college readiness combined with support services. By 2016-17, this program minimally grew; the targeted beneficiaries were 2,350. In other studies conducted in 2015, the Upper Iowa University graduate students' cost-outcome study, based on the 2013-2014 cohort of the program, aimed at determining whether the program made efficient use of the available resources in raising completion rates. Completion is outlined as transfer readiness, attainment of an AA degree, or completing a credential in not more than 3. or five years. Thus, the purpose of the study was to establish the cost-efficiency of the implemented College Readiness program relative to the previous conventional plan meant for first-time freshmen at Purposeful College. This evaluation was done concerning the cost and completion rates of the college-readiness participants and the non-participants. The students in this study were 850 college-readiness students with an average age of 18, while the non-participants were 4016, with an average age of 19 (Hanson, 2018).
