Post 5-1 & 5-2 Name Institutional Affiliation 5-1 The roadmap concept within coaching refers to a plan that helps to achieve the goals or objectives and includes incorporating the thought process and enhancing behaviors necessary to achieve the goals. The thought processes an d behavior affects actions and decisions is one example of having a roadmap is helping the employee or client to improve their time management skills, where there are action plans and expectations to achieve this. This would first require identifying the source of the problem before clarifying the issue and expectations (Milner, McCarthy & Milner, 2018). Then the client can make changes, model behavior and influence change in behavior so the clients integrate the changes. The roadmap process is useful to help maintain integrity in coaching as well as align the thought processes with the goals. Choosing the most appropriate coaching interventions to achieve the intended goals is easier when using a roadmap.
