Discussion Thread: Character
Character and integrity concepts have an interrelation connection; however, they are different. Character defines the moral qualities and principles that are distinctive to a person that drives them to do what is right. Character entails several attributes defining the individual's moral nature, while integrity is just one quality. Integrity defines what is right since it is the specific quality or principle of a person having strong moral uprightness and honesty (Saranya et al., 2023). According to Dungy's teachings, character is the overall personality of a person's ethical and moral standards, which is different from integrity, which is the quality of being truthful and having intense moral principles.
