Part 1: Customized Degree Plan
You will also submit your completed degree plan as a part of this assignment. You will choose elective courses and some general education courses that will create your customized psychology degree plan. Review possible elective courses by navigating the course catalog and looking at course descriptions across different departments that might contain courses that will align with your goals.
Please Note: Recall the information provided in Unit 7 Summary/ Looking Ahead, on earning a Micro-Credential based on taking the respective electives. Default electives are pre-populated in your degree plan.
While you decide which electives to take, keep in mind that you can earn a Micro-Credential within your degree. A Micro-Credential is already built into the degree plan as long as you take the respective electives. The default electives are pre-populated in your Degree Plan. The Academic Catalog has additional information and other options for Micro-Credentials.
You do have the ability to earn a Micro-Credential, but it is not required. You are welcome to choose your own electives based on your preference. If some of your open electives are fulfilled by transfer credits, you may not be eligible for a Micro-Credential. Check with your Advisor to be certain or if you have any questions.
Once you have selected the courses that you would like to take, please review the Blueprint Instructions for how to update the information on your online degree plan.
Finally, save your customized degree plan as a PDF.
