Partly, that is because most of the challenges experienced within such operational settings demand unique inputs from individuals with varying, but complementary skills. To that extent, health and human services operations can foster multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary teams (Youngweth & Twaddle, 2011). A multidisciplinary team consists of individuals from different disciplines with varying skill sets tasked to complete a particular project (Summers et al., 2022).
