In light of this, I chose a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Taking a degree in psychology and focusing on applied behavior analysis is viewed as a defining course in this sector since it provides learners with solid skills and knowledge necessary for comprehensive behavior analysis (APA, 2024). As of this understanding, I chose the aforementioned degree since it will prepare me to deal with behavioral changes, particularly as an analyst in community health centers, autism clinics, and child welfare agencies. In relation to why I chose this degree, an examination of existing literature shows that the most positive aspect is that it is a rewarding field. Primarily, all degrees in psychology will surely equip learners with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to work effectively with individuals in behavioral changes and in various settings.
