Presentation Script Functional Behavior Assessment for Ella Vader Slide 1 (Title and Introduction) Welcome, and thank you for attending this presentation, which is focused on the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) conducted for Ella Vader. The purpose of this presentation is to summarize all the assessment procedures, results, and recommendations for the intervention. The aim is for these findings to be explained plainly and understandably to stakeholders, from teachers to parents and caregivers. Slide 2 (Identifying Information) Ella Vader is 19 years old and has a disability of an intellectual disability. She lives in a group home and attends a supervised vocational rehabilitation program to help her become more independent and, thus, more employable. However, she participated in structured programs and has shown ongoing hygiene-related behavior that prevents her from interacting with her coworkers and working socially (Cooper et al., 2021). Understanding how Ella is living her day-to-day life, and thus what her background is, is essential to designing and providing interventions that respect Ella's individuality and make a real difference to her quality of life. Slide 3 (Behavior of Concern) Poor personal hygiene is the primary behavior of concern about Ella.
