Child development is a course that all kids undergo in their lives. This process consists of emotional, cognitive, and physical variations. Theorists Erik Erickson and Sigmund Freud have been known for their contributions to psychology. "The Dissection of the Psychical Personality" describes Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory comprising of ego, superego and id that influence behavior. Erik Erickson's "The Life Cycle: Epigenesis" builds psychosocial development from childhood to adulthood. The two theories are widely acknowledged as the theories of development.
