Provide one example of an endangered species found in the biome/ecosystem. Briefly discuss the causes of the decline in the species and what is being done to help.

According to NASA, there are seven biomes: tundra, shrubland, tropical rainforest, grassland, desert, coniferous, and deciduous forest. Each of these is a large occurring community of flora and fauna occupying a primary habitat. A species that lives in one biome is less likely to survive or will cause a problem, in its current form, in a different biome. For instance, a species that lives in the rainforest will undoubtedly struggle to live in a desert biome. The rainforest biome consists of the rainforest ecosystem.
