Connect the idea of positive and negative integers to credits and debits within accounts.

Complete the Ideal Job Worksheet to guide you in developing your budget. Be sure to show all work!
Complete a 2-page, double-spaced, APA formatted report. In the report, you need to present your findings and explain the connections between your calculations and integers. Thoughts to include in the report include: What types of transactions are positive or negative? How can you write an expression to determine your income? How can you write an equation to solve the number of hours you need to work or the amount of money you need to make to reach your financial goals.

1 Research jobs using your degree and identify a job you would be interested in. Use a website like Glassdoor.com to determine the salary for the job you are interested in. Then Find out the hourly pay amount based on what is given. Be sure to cite your source in the worksheet and in your report.
The average childhood teaching preschool is $7- $12 per hour (Glassdoor, 2020). I am located in Mentor OH, and the average salary in Ohio is $12/ hour and ranging from $ 7.63 to $ 19.97 (ZipRecruiter.com, 2020). However, as the owner/director of my center, I would make more money than a teacher when the center is profitable.
2 Write an equation to express how much money you would make if you worked h hours. Where I equal income:

The Ohio average salary is used
In one day they work for 8 hours
I =(s) x (h) = $ 12* 8 hours = $ 96 / day
The income per week, where there are five days = 96*5=$ 480/ week
3 Would you consider your income to be a positive or a negative integer? Why?
Income is a positive integer as it is gain and increase. An integer represents a number that can be written as a whole without a fraction. Receiving income increases the money they have and what they can spend.
4 How many hours would you need to work to earn $400 per week (assume overtime is paid at the regular hourly rate)?
In 1 hour, I would earn 12 USD
Total number of hours (h) =$ 400/ $ 12= 33 1/3 hours = 33 hours and 20 minutes
5 Now let’s assume that your car is currently paid off, but you have to pay gas and budget for driving to and from your new job. Find out the local gas price and write an equation to describe the price of gas for g gallons. Where M is the amount of money, you spend on gas each week. Estimate the mileage to your new job each week and explain what the weekly gas cost would be for your budget.
The gas price per gallon is approximately $ 2.10
Price of gas (p) = $ 2.10
Miles per gallon is 30 mpg
Amount of money on gas per week (M) = p*g
When the workplace is 3 miles away, this is 6 miles to and from a day.

6 Would the gas cost be considered a positive or a negative integer? Why?
A negative integer is less than zero. Since the gas cost reduces disposable income, it is a negative integer. An increase in the distance traveled increases the total gas costs incurred.
7 Write an expression that calculates your weekly balance in your account based on a 40 hour work week and accounting for the gas amount. Show integers as positive or negative.
Monthly gas cost (M) = Cost per week * 4 weeks
The income per week, where there are five days = 96*5=$ 480/ week
