REFLECTION/APPLICATION LAB PAPERS
You are to keep a weekly journal of your thoughts that reflects on the issues and theories discussed in class in general and a meaningful integration of content from the assigned readings for the week starting Session 2 (Sep 8) and ending Session 6 (Oct 6).
These “lab papers” are your own reflections and thoughts that help "make sense" of the theories and your own changes in perceptions, beliefs, or challenges to the validity of theories and models discussed in class and presented in assigned readings from the previous week.
Each lab application paper should be 1.5 to 2-pages (double spaced typed equivalent) per session and posted under the “assignments” tab for the course. Be sure to use APA format for your papers. Your reflection/application lab papers will be assessed on the basis of your integration of course readings for that week, demonstrating your deeper understanding of the material and how you might apply the content to your life and work.
***The assigned readings are Chapter 8 and 9. I attached the specific contents page for Chapter 8&9. You don't have to ready CHAPTERS, you could know the details from contents page and write the lab paper about it.
***The reading materials from "Organization Development and Change"

Thus, communication is a two-way process: sending of the information and receiving the feedback. This communication is based on the desire to meet a specific set of goals. As the constructivism theory notes, successful communication requires some level of cognitive complexity among the communicators as it allows them to pursue multiple goals.
Any type of feedback is based on the need to achieve a specific goal. For example, most of the survey feedbacks that companies conduct are meant to understand the performance of their products in the market. The ultimate goal for such type of feedback is to improve the product performance by getting the communication from the customers on what they like and that which they do not like. The surveys are thus framed on whether the feedback intended will help in exploring the subject, describing it, and identifying the cause and effect of a phenomenon.
Each communication style has both strengths and weaknesses, depending on the subject matter. It is, therefore, important to identify the subject matter for the communication process and know the type of approach to utilize in getting the feedback (Cummings & Worley, 2014). For example, surveys may be important when dealing with a wide range of the audience, ...
