The health sector is under different management, whereby managers or directors of various departments are mostly held accountable in case of anything goes astray. Various departments, such as the Department of Information Systems, collect, analyze, and keep patient history in the healthcare facility, among others. This department plays a vital role in the health sector regarding safety (Lammroth,2020). This is because the information is critical since the health physicians use it to decide which best treatment derives that particular patient seeking the services. Moreover, this department holds data used in case the facility gets some assistance regarding funds from the national or state level. It is necessary to protect and ensure that the facility has a department of information system that is safe and well-secured to avoid losing important documents or data.
Furthermore, there is also the issue of cultural competency whereby students studying medical units can be trained to improve their cultural competency and close the competency gap as the newly recruited trainees graduate fully and become health experts. With the idea of improving cultural competency, it is also necessary to lobby and hold conferences and meetings with accredited bodies that enlighten the need to have cultural competency programs even before joining a specific health facility (Reimer et al., 2019). On the other hand, in the future, the health sector is facing some challenges. One of the most common challenges expected in this sector is stress due to the high turnout of the patient population seeking medical services. As stated earlier, the high population turnout is another future challenge linked with some challenges like post-trauma syndrome and back pain, among other challenges. Finally, with reduced capitation on the insurance sector, the large population will be negatively affected since seeking medical attention will be expensive.

Health information system, in most cases, enables all those healthcare organizations to carry out their operations. This particular department typically enables healthcare organizations to collect, manage, analyze, store, and optimize patient treatment and other related data. Moreover, the information system department, in the real sense, enables those who provide health care to have easy access to information or easily get information concerning macro-environment like community health trends (Lammroth, 2020). Health providers use these information department systems to have an insight into the entire healthcare system, which is commonly linked with the best outcomes. It is necessary to note that information systems play a vital role in healthcare administration and the provision of healthcare services.
On the other hand, nurses and doctors normally use these information systems to decide on various facets and categories of patient care. For instance, quick checking of the previous data record of the patient assists a lot in deciding the kind of treatment the patient deserves. It normally brings out the light on the patient's treatment (Amlung, et al.,2020). Other than patients' or doctors' usage of information systems, the administration also uses them to allocate resources required or needed in the organization for its operationalization. The information department system keeps a record for future reference, either to provide services to the patient or even for the development of the facility.
Information department systems keep the information used to develop a more comprehensive healthcare plan. Moreover, the information from these department systems is used to improve the outcomes of patients. Furthermore, the information system is used to allocate more funds or resources to other related areas judiciously (Amlung, et al., 2020). It also showcases the health trend of a particular community, which can be used to depict and support population health. Cultural competencies can be improved in various ways. One of the most common ways of improving cultural competency is through lobby and advocacy for the development of the group or department to ensure something positive has been done to improve and create awareness about people's cultures. Another common way of improving cultural competence is through cultural interaction. Interacting with people from different cultures assists someone in improving their way of doing things; in most cases, it acts as an eye-opener (Reimer et al., 2019). It is also necessary to interact with different groups of people as much as possible. Through such, one can learn more about other people's ways of doing things.
Those in the organizations, especially top healthcare leadership, can organize cultural competency conferences so that the health physicians can learn and improve their cultural competencies. The leaders and subordinates from various converging healthcare can interact, learn and adopt some of the ideas or cultures which positively improve their cultural way of doing things in the healthcare department to improve the health sector (Nair & Adetayo, 2019). In connection to that, becoming proactive in solving matters or issues connected with different cultures encourages the problem solver or the health expert to air and solve such issues again in the future. Remaining active in matters concerning cultural practice, more so relating to other health community matters, exposes one to improve the cultural competence of health medics.
Another important method through which cultural competency can be improved is by providing basic education to residents and students before transitioning into other attending roles. Such a council like Accreditation Council for Medical Graduates has accredited the significance of addressing this particular cultural diversity as part and parcel of its professionalism competency. Other bodies, such as the Alliance of Continuing Medical Education, have also dedicated lectures at its top-most national annual conference on cultural competencies (Nair & Adetayo). All these activities are more helpful in increasing the awareness of those in training and closing the competency gap as these trainees transition from training or college to practice.
The idea of incorporating diversity training and cultural competence activity or exercise at some national level, such as surgery meeting like plastic surgery. The move to holding meeting with other accredited health councils, such as AAPS, is another way to incorporate cultural competency training. These kinds of training and support for improving cultural competencies are still underway at the state and national levels (Nair & Adetayo, 2019).
