Managers play an important role in every organization because they spend most of their time interacting with employees, customers, and even leaders from other organizations. It is important to note that managers need to understand interpersonal relations for these interactions to be effective. Thus, one of the significant roles of a manager is to plan, organize, and coordinate. Most times, companies come up with plans for developing various projects. In such cases, a manager plays a vital role in devising strategies to implement projects effectively.
A manager is supposed to have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a field related to the department one works in. In most cases, big companies need a manager who has a master’s degree in business administration. Teamwork and team building are essential for any organization to attain its goals. A manager must promote teamwork and ensure employees value and respect one another. This ensures that all activities are carried out appropriately. A successful manager needs to have excellent management skills because one is responsible for instilling management functions and overseeing the activities of other departments. Lastly, a manager plays a vital role in motivating and encouraging employees to be confident in what they do. This helps them increase their productivity and attain their personal goals.

For this work unit, there are three types of jobs available. There is General Manager, a department manager, and a quality manager. The GM (General Manager) is responsible for all the activities in the unit, while the department manager takes care of all the department issues. Considering there are different departments in the company, each department has a manager who oversees the operations and activities of employees. The department manager is also responsible for planning and coordinating various projects. These individuals play a critical role in enhancing the company's operations effectiveness. They make up the core leadership team of the company.
