Which of the topics presented to you thus far in this course has been most difficult to understand? Why?
The text presents diverse management topics and concepts that make this book valuable. However, I have found some sections challenging to understand. For instance, integrating job analysis into the HRM process appears complicated. One of the aspects that makes it difficult to understand is that it packs detailed information that makes it challenging to distinguish between analysis and design (Youssef-Morgan & Stark, 2020). Moreover, the topic of the below-market compensation technique in chapter 9 remains confusing. Even after re-reading the context, it remains unclear why an institution would embrace such an approach when it has more disadvantages than advantages. Perhaps, receiving clarifications about its merits may assist in understanding this topic better.
