Planning for a Training Session
The most significant thing about a needs assessment is that it helps in identifying the cause of the problem, the extent, and the best solution. My organization’s issue is the inability of employees to use the newly implemented customer relationship management (CRM) software. As such, having determined the primary problem, it becomes easier to address it. In the scenario at hand, the company needs an effective training program that will help workers transition successfully from the traditional way of doing things to using the CRM system. Some workers have been with the company for a long period and have never used technology to perform their duties. Such individuals should be taught about the importance of the CRM system in not only making their work easier but also how it facilitates proper interactions with stakeholders, such as customers. As such, intended learners should know how to use the CRM software well at the end of this training program.
Formative assessment will help to monitor the learning process and provide feedback to improve knowledge acquisition, while summative assessment will me...
