Among its numerous ramifications, perhaps none is more closely scrutinized than its impact on wages. Inflation poses a critical issue for employment around the globe for the organizations that seek to find a way to overcome the complex interaction between their wages and inflation. In the face of the fact that causes an everlasting rise of the general price level of products and services, the issue of inflation on wages becomes a critical problem for companies located all around the world (Bernanke & Blanchard, 2023; Lorenzoni & Werning, 2023). This paper unveils the multidimensional contexts and the considerations relevant for the successful attainment of the equilibrium between inflation and salary, taking the view of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In order to tackle the problem of inflation on wages, which CHROs have to bear, the first thing that should be done is to assess the payroll system and to adapt compensation policies to minimize the negative outcome (Buchheim et al., 2023; Jordà & Nechio, 2023). As equity-focused compensation managers, the work of CHROs include the accurate assessment of existing wage systems against the backdrop of inflationary developments. This assessment calls for a comprehensive study of welfare packages such as salaries, bonuses and benefits to establish whether there is enough adequacy for the employees purchasing power to be safeguarded. Aging benchmarking studies against industry norms as the primary purpose of such an exercise is to strive for competitive pay as well as to evaluate inflation rate relative to conduct of other firms. Additionally, CHROs shall strive to apply innovative compensation techniques such as the ones, which features the built-in fighting mechanisms for issuing of salary increases in response to inflationary trends.
