The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is a federal organization tasked with the obligation to evaluate, make, and implement laws that shield any working United States individuals from discrimination. In addition, during the formulation of the laws, the agency based on religion, race, gender, and disability state of the employees. By doing so, EOCC ensures that all citizens have the same opportunities, including promotions, benefits, and hiring opportunities. Some of the laws formed by EEOC include equal pay laws that ensure that no employers discriminate against their employees in terms of payment based on race, color, religion, or sex.
