This in turns lessens the quality of overall care which affects the patient’s satisfactory level. This essay discusses the quality initiatives that the clinic manager has to take in order to sort out the issues related to the patient’s satisfaction. Discussion In healthcare organizations, significant attention should be given to the three major elements; these elements include improvement in population, reduction in cost and overall patient experience (Hersh, 2018). Although these elements are very challenging, it becomes easier when the goals relevant to it broke down in smaller forms. The first quality initiative that a manager should focus on is to spread awareness regarding all these issues and its root cause. It could be done by arranging small Interpersonal Educational Programs for the staff. These programs could help the staff in learning tacticsб how to provide the best possible care to the patients. These programs will also help the staff to attend more patients and provide high-quality care. The significance of interpersonal education has been discussed by Lee, 2016 on her Rutgers University research. The second quality initiative that could be implemented for better results includes changing tactics of Payment Reforms. For this initiative, the clinic manager needs to involve health care payers and self-insured employers to construct new mechanisms for payment. This new mechanism should be constructed in a way that could provide better quality and lower financial expenses. The Oregon Health Leadership Council implemented the successful example of this mechanism in Portland. The third initiative is the Implementation of Technology. The administration of technology, i.e. electronic health records tends to provide an opportunity to measure results with more accuracy and speed much to the patient’s satisfaction. Although this implementation does require an initial investment, the results that could be attained from it will be far more worthy.
