The chapter provides a list of core values on pages 46-48 (refers to the original page numbers at the top). Identify three to five values that are most important to you and explain how these values have influenced key decisions you have made in your life. 2. Not only have your core values influenced important decisions you have made in your life thus far, but they will also serve to influence decisions you have yet to make. Answer A or B below: A. Identify a company that you would ideally want to work for in the near future. It could be a company where you’d like to obtain a summer internship or receive an employment offer for a full-time position after graduation. What are this company’s values? This question should be answered by researching information about the company’s mission, values statement or credo, and key business decisions (for example how the company makes its products or where it chooses to spend its money.) This information will most likely be found on the company’s website, various corporate communications, and/or articles about the company that appear in the news or on popular social media sites. Based on your research (and make sure you discuss what you found), do the company’s values align with your core values identified in #1 above? As you learn more about the company and its values, do you still want to work there? Please explain by drawing upon specific evidence to support your answer (e.g., Glassdoor reviews, personal experiences). B. If you plan on starting your own business or already have, what will be/are the company’s values? How will/are the company’s values reflective of your own? If you were to model your values on an existing organization(s), which organizations would you reference and why. Please be specific in your explanation elaborating on how these values will be/are reflected in your business’ products/services, decisions, and practices.

These basics, sinking so deep into systems of thinking, make a great impact on thoughts, actions, and every other interaction. Trustworthiness, justice, and collaboration have formed a foundation upon which I have been able to view the challenges and opportunities of life. This paper will discuss in detail how these values have informed my personal decisions and career goals through the platforms of choosing a workplace and the basis of business ethical, respectively. Mutual trust forms the basis of any healthy ties or interactions, be it between people or between businesses. It represents confidence, trustworthiness, and integrity in all dealings (Kacperska & Łukasiewicz, 2021). For my own part, trustworthiness directs me on how to carry out my obligations, communicate freely, and even go by the rules despite the harsh conditions. And professionally, it influences my strategy of establishing confidence with my colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. In the collaborative setting, trust is the peace where thoughts are exchanged openhandedly, just as encounters are set up on a ground of honesty and genuineness. When identifying a workplace, I look for organizations defining the main point of culture of trustworthiness, where openness and honesty are cherished, and where ethics is in the point of no returns. It is better to be in workplace environment where there is trust. Justice is the ethical compass that directs us towards justness, equity, and finally, to behavioral honesty (Jang et al., 2021). It means always to act in a manner that respects the honor of other people, promoting equality, and standards of fairness throughout all encounters. In my own case, justice drives me to speak in favor of that which is right, to counter injustice, and to advocate for the voiceless and vulnerable communities. From a professional perspective, it defines my decision-making mechan...
