Credibility refers to the quality of people to believe and trust you. As a leader, we always should be credible. In the video, the speaker says that a leader always has followers who see certain qualities they like in the person before following him (TEDx Talks, 2015). These qualities contribute to credibility as people would not want to be associated with a person who is not honest and trustworthy. Credibility also means that a leader stands his ground by taking a side in an argument or scenario and defending it without wavering. He does this without minding whether people are following him or against him. It means the leader believes in his stand and knows it is the right thing to do.
