Ethical principles are crucial for the running of any organization. Ethical issues can be termed as what is moral for the individual and the society. Moreover, the ethical principles in an organization are essential preconditions for the existence of a community because they enable people to live in harmony, bring trust and also satisfy human needs. Then again, the ethical principles create a sense of what is wrong and right in the organization and often when the law fails; it is the ethics that may stop the organization from harming the society. Leaders, who are ethical like Ronald Reagan as indicated in the film, are warded with a piece of mind which has no price tag (Responsibility project, 2012).
Social values like age and disabilities may have a great impact on the organizational ethics. For instance, in this film Ronald Reagan is challenged by his political opponent that he is aged therefore, he cannot rule well. However, Ronald Reagan challenges his opponent that age is not a matter in leadership. Moreover, Ronald Reagan`s public trust and his vast experience in leadership due to age make him beat his opponent.
