From the article, we see the foundation of classical education as we follow a story of a young man who reminiscences on the previous life of his father, which would lead to the building of a pillar of knowledge and skills which would be taught and passed down to his daughter, Marlow. On his trip to Athens, which happens after a period of restricted movements due to the Covid 19 pandemic, he has returned to his father’s life, which influenced his choice in career and a guide in his adulthood journey. His father, a young boy from a small town, Galveston, Texas, is lured by the material he finds behind the property by his time neighbor.
