DEATH OF MY BEST FRIEND JACK
Early stage
My best friend Jack and I were born and brought up in the same estate. He was a little taller than I was, but we resembled physically and behaviorally. Having been raised up together, we used to visit each other, and our parents too encouraged our friendship. As kids we played together and also aspired to school and build our career together. We all dreamed to be engineers and our parents were greatly in support of the idea. We grew fond of each other in our early ages whereby we joined the same elementary school and high school, in the same class and all through we learned together until college.
Elementary and Middle school
My friend and I went into the same elementary school, 3 kilometers from our neighborhood. Every morning the school bus used to pick us and drop us at the same point. For this reason, the bus driver thought we were siblings. At school we hanged out, and played together. In fact other children used to envy our friendship. In class we used to sit on the third row, and were desk mates. Teachers also used to like our class participation and efforts to excel in our studies. Although we were not the best students in class, we worked extremely hard and were always top ten best students in class. This continued until we did our final elementary exam. We likewise joined middle school in the same institution and our friendship grew stronger as our ages did. We were all lucky that we scored good grades which assured us a place in the renowned high schools in our region. However, we were not lucky to join same high school, but this neither deterred our friendship.
